VANA Childcare Development Program (Global Development Group- J710N)
VANA Childcare Development Program is a Global Development Group (GDG) approved aid and development project J710N in project partnership with VANA Ministries which since 2006 has been rescuing orphans and other vulnerable children from a hopeless life on the streets. VANA focuses on the holistic care and development of the child. Located in Chivhu, Bulawayo and Chinhoyi (Zimbabwe), educating and providing children with a loving and nurturing family; VANA aims: To provide better education for the vulnerable To improve the water and sanitation systems in the community to reduce cases of cholera: To raise awareness on the importance of nutrition for health. To raise awareness on HIV/AIDS in the local community. Through these activities, VANA intends to break the cycle of poverty; not only meeting children’s fundamental needs and enhancing the quality of their lives, but also being committed to raising the next generation of Zimbabwean leaders
VANA Ministries is proud to be a partner for Project J710N Vana Childcare Development Program with Global Development Group (ABN 57 102 400 993), an Australian DFAT approved Non Government Organisation carrying out quality humanitarian projects with approved partners and providing aid to relieve poverty and provide long term solutions.
Global Development Group takes responsibility of the project according to DFAT rules providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluating and auditing to ensure the projects are carried out to DFAT requirements. If projects are overfunded, funds may be directed towards other approved project activities.
